Artist Biography

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Pam traveled east to earn a BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. She began her career working as a Graphic Designer, an Art Director and a Director of Communications before earning her MFA in Printmaking and Drawing from University Nebraska-Lincoln. Her graduate thesis advisor was, Professor Karen Kunc. Retuning to the Pacific Northwest to raise two kids and a yellow lab, Pam volunteered as a Visiting Artist in the Schools for both private and public institutions. Teaching professional workshops and at several universities tops off her professional experience.

Pam has participated in artist residencies at Anderson Ranch Arts Center (Colorado), Penland School of Craft (North Carolina), and the Kimmel Harding Center for the Arts (Nebraska). Her work is included in national and international exhibits and is housed in private and public collections.
